Atlanta Public Garden, Chihuly Exhibit, October 2016
How fascinating human creativity and design are, when they mesh with the natural world! In October, my husband and I were visiting family in Atlanta, and we went to the Atlanta Botanical Garden and saw the most recent installation of famed glass artist Chihuly and his glass sculptures throughout the garden.
Design and nature reflected one another in this collection of glass art installed throughout the garden; we see that often in interior design components, as well, with shapes, colors and patterns copying or referencing natural objects.

And then, there are just the fabulous shapes and colors that Chihuly pulls together and seem like they’ve always been meant to be together and floating.
